Used Omneon MIP1010A mediaport with support for DVand mpeg IMxthe MIP 1010a DV/MPEG IMX MEDIAPORT is an interface adapter for video, audio, timecode and control. Video I/O format is selectable between DV (25 Mbps), DVCPRO, DVCPRO 50, MPEG-2 and IMX. Encoding and decoding of MPEG 2 has three selectable ranges: (1) 3.0 – 15.0 Mbps,Long GOP, selectable 4:2:0 profile or 4:2:2 profile; (2) 15.1 – 24.9 Mbps, Long GOP, 4:2:2 profile; (3) 25 - 50 Mbps, I-frame only, 4:2:2 profile.Encoding of IMX is fixed at 50 Mbps, I-frame only. Audio I/O is provided through an AES/EBU interface that supports four stereo pairs. SDI embedded audio capabilities (per SMPTE 272M) are standard on the MIP 1010a, eliminating the need for external embedders and de-embedders. The MIP 1010a also supports pre-compressed audio, with the ability to record and playout AC-3 and Dolby™ E.
